PARENT MEETING – Tuesday, February 6th – QUEBEC CITY March Break Trip

Good Morning, All! We hope you are enjoying your start to the weekend!

The Quebec City Trip is a GO! Very exciting for the Cadets! They are going to have an amazing time this March Break!

There are a number of requirements for the Cadets to be eligible for the trip, and your Cadet is aware of these requirements.
The list of eligible Cadets will be posted this Tuesday, January 30th.

There will be a Quebec Trip Parent Meeting on Tuesday, February 6th for all of the parents of Cadets who have met the requirements and are eligible to go on the trip.
If your Cadet is eligible for the trip, please make time to attend, as all important trip details will be discussed at this meeting. (Timing for the meeting will be posted on the website this week.)

In order for eligible Cadets to have their spot held for the trip, they must pay a $150 deposit and return all of their OPC ticket stubs by February 6th.
(If there are financial concerns, please contact SSC Chair Karryn Shilliday at mohawkssc to discuss options.)

We would really appreciate it if you would bring OPC ticket stubs and pay trip deposits at the beginning of the night when we have a full contingent of SSC members to assist you.
All of your support of Fundraising activities and Volunteer time has helped make this trip possible! THANK YOU!

And just as a reminder, we still need help at BINGO! Please sign up online for your shifts. There are lots of open spots. We are also looking for more BINGO Captains. Training will be provided so if you are willing and able to help out, we would really appreciate it! BINGO provides the Squadron with significant income monthly so we need your ongoing support for this fundraiser.

Thank you, Everyone! We look forward to seeing you on the 6th!

Nov 3 (Fri)    1700-2100

Good Evening, All! We hope you enjoyed last night’s CO’s Parade! It was wonderful to see so many parents/guardians and siblings in attendance.Congratulations to all of your Cadets who received new positions and promotions! Very exciting for all!

Also we wish WO1 Parnell a very fond farewell as he retires from the Squadron and moves on to his next adventure! Thank you for your service to 715.

So, we need some help with BINGO! Thank you to all of those who have been lending a hand and supporting our BINGO fundraising efforts. We appreciate your help!!

BINGO is an important monthly income source for the Squadron and we need your continued support. The Sign Up sheet is on the Parent’s page of the Squadron website. Please follow this link and sign up for your shifts.

We have over 80 Cadets in the Squadron and we ask that parents do a minimum of 2 shifts per year. (That should be more than enough people to cover104 shifts per year (52 weeks x 2 people per week). Please sign up to help. You will receive whatever training is needed, no experience necessary! And it’s a great opportunity to meet other parents and family members. Anyone 19+ can help at BINGO.

Also, please make sure you attend the shifts you sign up for. If you cannot make it for some reason, please give as much notice as possible. Our BINGO Captains have to scramble to find someone at the last minute, if someone doesn’t show up. Your help is much appreciated.

Thank you in advance for signing up and for Supporting your Cadet(s) at 715 Mohawk Squadron!
